Places to see...
There are lots of places to see in Edinburgh, so remember to have a good pair of sneakers on your feet when siteseeing around the city.
One of the most visited places is the castle. Sorry, but I only have a photo of the entrance.
This is St. Giles Cathedral. I went back to it many times during my stay in Edingburgh. It has the magnificent mosaic windows.
Isn't it beautiful. I hurried out and bought some paper and pencils to draw the windows with.
A view overlooking some of Princes Street gardens
The Scott Monument It's 200ft 6 in / 61.1 m high
I climbed the 287 steps to the top. Glad I did it, but I'm never doing it again.
This is some of the Princes Street Gardens. I often sat here and enjoyed the atmosphere of the place.
Dynamic Earth. A place to visit if you have the time, but not a 'must-see' tourist atraction.
There are a four galleries to visit in Edinburgh. I went to see them all. There are a special bus going between the galleries, but if you have the time it's a nice walk too.
