Buns

 

Ingredients:

  • 25 g yeast

  • 75 g butter

  • 2 ½ dl milk

  • ½ dl sugar

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp cardamom

  • 6 - 7 dl flour

  • To brush with: 1 egg

 

 

Crumble the yeast into a bowl.

Melt the butter and pour the milk in the butter and heat the milk/butter untill it is 37 deg. C.

Pour the liquid onto the yeast and stirr.

Add sugar, salt and cardamom.

Then add the flour and knead the dough untill it's nice and smooth.

Let the dough raise for 30 min.

Knead the dough and divide it into 12 pieces.

Roll them into smooth buns and place tem on a baking plate.

Let the buns raise for 30 min.

Brush the buns with whipped egg.

Bake for about 15-20 min. in a 200 - 225˚C varm oven.
